PSR advised KWP Energia, a renewable energy generator specializing in floating solar energy, on an investment decision of R$480 million to implement the Arauc\u00e1ria Floating Photovoltaic Plant at the Billings dam, located in the metropolitan region of S\u00e3o Paulo. Opened in January 2024, the project is the result of a consortium signed between KWP Energia and Empresa Metropolitana de \u00c1guas e Energia (Emae), with 7 MWp of installed capacity in this first stage, and expected to reach 75 MWp by 2025.<\/p>\n

PSR provided regulatory support, a study of the current scenario and projections of the distributed generation (DG) market in Brazil, in addition to an analysis of the project’s economic and financial attractiveness in different business models.<\/p>\n

The transaction reinforces PSR’s experience in providing advisory services, combining regulatory support, quantitative analysis and strategic guidance to support successful investments in the energy sector.<\/p><\/div>\n
