The Brazilian electricity sector is advancing on an agenda that combines regulatory modernization, improvement of market mechanisms, and the pursuit of greater operational efficiency.<\/p>\n

This is the starting point of the “Opinion” section of the March edition of the Energy Report, which analyzes recent developments associated with the proposed two-settlement and its role in the evolution of the Brazilian commercial model. The editorial highlights that the topic, discussed for decades in the sector, is now gaining new relevance in light of regulatory advances and the need to align market operations with international best practices.<\/p>\n
