<strong>Dynamic Line Rating (DLR)<\/strong> feature, designed to reduce congestion in transmission lines, optimize asset utilization, improve efficiency, and lower costs. By dynamically adjusting the assumed thermal capacity of overhead transmission lines based on real-time environmental and weather conditions, DLR enhances the integration of solar and wind energy, reduces curtailment of <strong>Variable Renewable Energy (VRE)<\/strong> sources, and enables more economical generation dispatch. This feature estimates the maximum thermal capacity for each hour, taking into account changes in temperature, solar irradiation, and wind speed.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, <strong>Time Series Lab 2.1<\/strong> can now operate in <strong>stand-alone<\/strong> mode, decoupled from <strong>SDDP<\/strong>. This allows users to access TSL\u2019s renewable modeling capabilities without opening the SDDP interface.
