Due to the parliamentary recess and low regulatory activity during the month, there will be no regulatory section in this edition.

WATER RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT

Exceptionally, there will be no water resources and environment section in this edition.

INTERNATIONAL

In this month's international section, we quantitatively analyze the balance between supply and demand for gas in the European Union and the world, to ascertain the magnitude of the impact that an eventual reduction in the supply of Russian gas could have on the international LNG market.

INNOVATION

In this section, we comment on the obstacles to the expansion of the use of geothermal source in the world and a promising technology that can solve the problem of geothermal: the gyrotron, a microwave device used for many years to create the plasma of fusion reactors.

STRUCTURAL SUPPLY ANALYSIS

We present the updated demand and structural energy supply balance for the coming years and our traditional “delay meter”.
