A SPOTLIGHT TO TARIFF (DE/IN)CREASES (PART 2)

OPINION

We bring a continuation of the May Editorial, analyzing the problems that structurally burden the country's tariffs, through a prospective diagnosis, with qualitative and quantitative aspects. Furthermore, we present proposals for measures capable of reducing present inefficiencies and avoiding new inefficiencies for the future, especially in the context of retail market liberalization.

REGULATORY

In this section, we discuss the CP 139/2022 opened by the MME, which aims to analyze the contracts resulting from the Simplified Competitive Procedure, in addition to other relevant topics.

WATER RESOURCES

This section discusses adaptations needed in hydropower development with climate change.
