In this editorial, we talk about the main issues addressed in the PSR/Canal Energia Workshop, indicating from the sector's agenda for 2019 according to PSR’s point of view

REGULATORY

In this section, we present the contribution sent by PSR to the Public Hearing No. 001/2019 promoted by ANEEL aiming to collect subsidies for the Regulatory Impact Analysis (AIR) on the improvement of the rules applicable to micro and mini distributed generation.

WATER RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT

In this section, we comment on the 1st Participatory Hydroelectric Inventories Workshop promoted by ANEEL, in which the computational model HERA, developed by PSR, was presented. HERA is a decision support system for selection of hydraulic heads partitioning in hydroelectric inventories.

INTERNATIONAL

In this international section, we will analyze the Colombian market segment concentration regarding the situation of the huge distributor and trader Electricaribe, which, after going through technical and financial problems and being the target of a judicial intervention process, is searching for a buyer.

SUPPLY

This edition features the updated balance of demand and structural supply of energy for years to come, including our traditional Delay Meter.
