DEMAND RESPONSE: THE PERFECT MATCH TO SUPPLY?

OPINION

In this editorial, we seek to understand why the Brazilian system does not yet have a demand response program and what are the prospects for the evolution of this important resource for market efficiency.

In this section, we comment on (i) the second phase of Public Consultation (CP) No. 35/2020 by Aneel that discusses the criteria for the Extraordinary Tariff Review (RTE) of the distributors and (ii) other relevant issues that moved during the month.

In this section, we comment on the Global Ecosystem Dynamics Investigation (GEDI), a system installed on the international space station to research the structure of the Earth's tropical and temperate forests.

In this edition, we discussed a memorandum prepared by the government of Mexico to the regulatory bodies of the country's energy sector, containing 17 proposals that go against the energy reform of 2013.

In this section, we comment on the development of Boston Dynamics' robotic products and their applications.

STRUCTURAL SUPPLY ANALYSIS

It presents the updated balance of demand and structural energy supply for the coming years and our traditional delay meter.
