OPINION

This section highlights one current and relevant issue of the electricity sector, selected by PSR for a deeper study and discussion.

REGULATIONS

A survey and an analysis of recent governmental activity on the electricity sector is made. The decisions taken and published documents are interpreted by PSR, and their impact on the sector is evaluated.

JURIDICAL

Section under the responsibility of our partner, Advocacia Waltenberg, deals with legal issues in the electricity sector, in a slightly different light from PSR.

ENVIRONMENTAL

Specifically addresses environmental issues related to the electricity sector emphasizing the monitoring of licensing processes.

SUPPLY

Gives an overview of the electrical power system for the coming years, presenting supply and demand balances, peak power balances and forecasted flows. Issues representing risks to supply security are discussed.
