Noel Rosa and the electricity sector bill in 2014 and 2015

OPINION

In this section we consolidate the estimate of the final cost for taxpayers (Treasury contributions) and consumers (tariffs from 2014 to 2016) resulting from the ﬁperfect stormﬂ of un-contracting and high prices in 2013 and 2014, already considering the result of the recent A0 auction, and we calculate what fraction of these costs was avoidable, and what was bad luck.

REGULATIONS

The topics of this section are: (i) delays, penalties and execution on guarantees: the case of transmission; (ii) meeting demand at A-3 auction of 2014; and (iii) guidelines for the reserve energy auction of 2014.

ENVIRONMENTAL
