Joined PSR in 2017 and, since then, has worked in the international consulting area. She has worked on projects aimed at analyzing international electricity markets, including market modeling, price projection and asset analysis. Has also worked in market design analysis projects, analysis of auction models, development of planning methodology, research and development projects, and due diligence of generation, transmission and distribution assets for electricity and gas. Ana has extensive knowledge and experience on the methodology, operation and use of economic dispatch methodologies, planning the expansion of electrical systems and synthetic scenarios for the production of renewables, focusing on the tools of PSR: SDDP, OPTGEN and TSL. She has experience with clients from several countries such as Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Panama, El Salvador, Peru, Uruguay, Dominican Republic, Turkey and Morocco, as well as international agencies. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering with an emphasis on Production Management from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and is currently a master’s student of Industrial Engineering with an emphasis on Operational Research in the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). In her free time, Ana is passionate about traveling and series, devotes herself to religious study and is an enthusiastic apprentice in the diving world.
