Maynara Aredes

Is an Electrical Engineer, graduated with honors in 2015 at UFRJ, has a Bsc degree in Applied Mathematics with emphasis in Scientific Computing in July 2017 from the same institution and is currently working towards a PhD in Electrical Engineering at the Power Electronics Program at COPPE/UFRJ . During the undergraduate studies, she participated in an academic exchange program at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. She worked as a researcher at the LEMT Laboratory in UFRJ in R&D projects in the areas of DC Multi-Infeed, FACT devices, renewable energy and DC microgrids. She joined PSR in 2017, where she has been developing models and computational tools for the planning and analysis of power systems.
