Has a BSc degree in Economics from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-Rio) and in Electrical Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), with emphasis on Electrical Energy Systems and Telecommunications. He is currently working towards a MSc degree in Mathematics. During the academic period, he worked at the Optoelectronics Laboratory in CETUC/PUC-Rio. He joined PSR in 2016 and has been involved in studies and software development in the following fields: (i) energy planning, considering the various primary and secondary resources, their uses and impact on the economy and the environment; (ii) technological solutions for reducing greenhouse gas emissions; (iii) analysis of electricity and natural gas markets in Latin America; (iv) portfolio optimization of physical and financial assets in the electricity market; (v) co-optimization of natural gas and electric systems.
