Has a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in power systems from Fluminense Federal University (UFF) and a M.Sc. degree in the fields of Electrical Engineering and Optimization from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio).

He joined PSR in 2011, where he is currently a consultant and has been working on financial and economic assessment of generation projects, strategic bidding in energy auctions, integrated electricity and gas planning studies and regulatory assessment and support for investors. Before joining PSR, he worked on the following companies: (i) Eletrobras, on rural electrification projects with renewable energy; and (ii) Banco BBM, on systems development.
