Rodrigo Cavalcanti

He graduated and holds a master's degree in Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis on Decision Support Methods, from PUC-Rio. He joined PSR in 2006, where he has been coordinating teams and works related to (i) probabilistic projections of energy tariffs, sector charges and tariff flags, (ii) probabilistic projections of energy prices in the free market (iii) energy demand estimate in auctions for the regulated market, (iv) evaluation of the energy commercial balance in the conventional and incentive free markets, (v) penetration of distributed generation and its impacts, (vi) analysis of electric energy supply strategies and client migration to the free market, (vii) valuation of electricity generation and distribution assets; (viii) market rules and (ix) quantification of regulatory impacts on market agents.
