Has a BSc with post-graduate level specialization in Water Resources Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, where he lectures since 1980 as Associate Professor. Joined PSR in 2005, where he coordinates activities related to environmental studies, including the developing of integrated environmental, hydro inventory studies, technical-environmental feasibility analysis of projects in the power sector and environmental monitoring. Worked for 25 years in Engevix, where coordinated and managed engineering and environmental studies. Has an extensive experience with the most important aspects related to Legislation, Licensing, Documentation, Conduction and Approval of environmental processes for hydro power plants, thermal power plants and transmission lines.
