Ana Carolina Peixoto Deveza has a BSc with honor in Environmental Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). During her undergraduate studies, she spent one year in an Exchange Program at the Faculty of Geosciences of Utrecht University and UNESCO-IHE (The Netherlands) engaging in an internship focused on waste management and bioenergy generation. Ana worked as Research Assistant in both Hydrology Lab and Freight Transportation Lab of COPPE-UFRJ. Currently she is a MSc candidate at the Energy Planning Program of COPPE-UFRJ. Ana joined PSR in 2015, since when has worked in due diligences of small hydro power plants, GHG emissions analysis under climate change, energy efficiency studies and modeling of renewable energy candidate projects. Ana is delegate for Rio de Janeiro at the Brazilian Youth Parliament for Water.
