The Brazilian Electricity Sector has been facing costs and risk allocation problems among agents and inadequate prices signals, which has lead in increasing pressure to open both the power free market and judicialization. The Government's proposed reform of the Sector, put forward in Public Consultation No. 33, aims to tackle these problems and prepare the legal framework for the insertion of new technologies.
The objective of the 8th PSR / Canal Energia Workshop is to present the problems of the Sector and analyze each proposal presented by the government. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss proposals and improvement needs. To see the Workshop website, click here.
