During six days of training at PSR, professionals from the EPE and the National Electric System Operator (ONS) deepened their knowledge of analytical tools from PSR (including SDDP, Netplan, CORAL and PSR Factory) and from HPPA (Organon).

The program included specific modules on battery modeling, reliability analysis, creation and processing of databases and simulation of the insertion of storage systems in the electricity grid. Some of the PSR experts who spoke at the training were Ana Carolina Cunha, Ricardo Perez, David Parrini and Luiz Carlos da Costa Junior. On the HPPA side, Jorge Jardim, Eduardo Teich and Leonardo Pinheiro also gave lectures.
One of PSR’s commitments is to promote the development of advanced technologies for the modernization of the Brazilian electricity sector, train professionals and foster innovation in the area of energy storage. Initiatives like this strengthen the transition to a more efficient, reliable and sustainable system, contributing to the construction of a safer and more resilient energy future.
