Since joining PSR in 2025, Mariana has been part of the Water Resources cluster, focusing on hydrological and energy studies, as well as compiling inventories of hydroelectric and pumped storage plants using the HERA model.

Professional Experience:

  • Research development in hydrology with a focus on hydro-sedimentological connectivity and the study of sediment production in river basins.
  • Work in socio-environmental studies, georeferencing, and map and plan preparation using QGIS, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD.
  • Publication of the article “Influence of Landscape Modification Caused by Mass Movements on the Connectivity Index (CI)” with presentation at the IVEND congress (2024).
  • Publication of the article “Applicability of the HAND model in generating flood spots using high- and medium-resolution digital terrain models” with presentation at the IVEND congress (2024).
