Since 2025 at PSR, he has been working as an intern in the company’s Intelligence and Market Planning cluster, where he models long-term cases for clients in the electricity and energy sector, structuring scenarios, calibrating data, and translating results into insights for commercial and regulatory decisions.
Professional experience – PUC-Rio Energy Institute:
- Developed quantitative and qualitative analyses for market intelligence in the natural gas sector, assessing competitiveness, socioeconomic impacts, regulatory challenges, and investment opportunities, with an emphasis on data modeling and commodity pricing.
- He has collaborated on strategic projects with major players in the sector, such as TAG, ENGIE, CNI, and GALP, exploring emerging technologies such as hybrid power plants, CCUS, green hydrogen, and biofuels, and supporting the structuring of scenarios and analytical models to inform strategic decisions.
- Personal research on (i) the inflexibility of thermal power plants in the face of electricity demand associated with the “duck curve” and (ii) the operational challenges of “curtailment” with the increase in the share of renewable sources.
- He published and presented the academic article “Urban Energy Transition: Strategies for Measuring, Tracking & Achieving Sustainable Cities” at the Latin American Energy Economics Forum (ELAEE), contributing to the formulation of climate policies focused on urban decarbonization.
