Professional Experience

• Began her professional career in the financial market, where she worked between 1995 and 2001.

• Consultant at PSR between 2001 and 2004, advising the Electricity Sector Model Revitalization Committee and working on the implementation of the Electricity Sector General Agreement.

• Worked at Light for 16 years (2004–2018 and 2019–2021) as Superintendent of Regulation, responsible for all regulatory projects involving the group’s companies.

• Served as Director of Regulation, a strategic role at the Enel Group in Brazil, focusing on projects related to driving the Energy Transition in the country, with emphasis on modernizing the regulatory framework of the Brazilian electricity sector, digitalizing grids, and integrating distributed energy resources.

• Over 20 years of experience in the Brazilian electricity sector, interacting with key industry entities (National Electric Energy Agency, Ministry of Mines and Energy, Electric Energy Trading Chamber – CCEE, among others), as well as major industry associations.

• Member of the ABRADEE Board for over 10 years.

At PSR since 2013, he has been a technical director and works in the management and development of projects related to energy trading, risk analysis and management, and investment evaluation.

At PSR since 2002, he has been technical director, coordinating the development and participating in the training and support of PSR’s most widely used computational tool, the hydrothermal probabilistic simulation model (SDDP model). He has also participated in the development of other PSR computational tools for planning the expansion of electrical systems, analyzing generation-transmission reliability, allocating transmission costs, supply-demand adjustment markets, and calculating energy prices.

• Involved in the development of computational models applied to the energy sector, such as:

  • Hydrothermal dispatch optimization under uncertainty with grid constraints (SDDP model).

  • Generation-transmission composite reliability assessment (CORAL model).

  • Electric system expansion planning (OptGen model) and transmission cost allocation.

• Participated in the development of models for generation-demand balancing markets (Balance model) and energy price assessment.

• With extensive international experience, he has participated in training, support, conferences, and projects in Brazil, Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, India, Italy, Panama, Turkey, the United States, and Vietnam.

She has been the technical director and coordinator of the energy regulation area at PSR since 2009. She is responsible for regulatory advisory studies for sector agents, associations, institutions, and government agencies; she has worked in various arbitration proceedings as a technical assistant; and has also participated in Research & Development projects as a researcher or coordinator.

He has been a technical director at PSR since 2006, coordinating the team allocation and activities of the energy studies group, as well as price and tariff projections. He participates in technical discussions to define assumptions and simulations. He also performs technical evaluations of the group’s work and participates in the entire work/study cycle: client interface, preparation of the work proposal, management and/or execution of the work, presentation of results to the client, and billing monitoring.
