In this event Luiz Carlos da Costa, Raphael Chabar, Alessandro Soares, Weslly Morais and Martha Carvalho will present how the challenges imposed by the insertion of renewables and energy transition guide the development of planning tools. In this conversation, we will present two computational tools from PSR, SDDP and Time Series Lab, and illustrate their functionalities through two real studies with the Brazilian system, both with hourly resolution, but with energy and detailed representations of the transmission network.
